Jose Funes is a Project Management professional that is responsible for the planning, procurement, and execution of a project, in any undertaking that has a defined scope, defined start and a defined finish: regardless of industry. As the first point of contact for emergency issues or discrepancies that arise from our established and non-established clients, Funes bears the responsibility to get to matter before the problem escalates. Jose graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in the top 10% of his class and as a member of the Hotel Management Magnet Program. Funes went on to pursue his hotel management dream and attended the University of Houston. While attending school and working with his stepfather in construction he began to gain interest in everything construction. Jose wasn’t satisfied working as a laborer, so he pushed himself to become a superintendent. Once he got the hands-on experience and education needed, he pursued this completely different career path and found his home with Basic Environmental Group
